The TLEF awarded over $2 million in funding for Small TLEF Innovation and Large TLEF Transformation projects during the 2019/20 funding round.
2019/20 Funded Projects
Sixty-four projects received funding during the 2019/20 TLEF funding round. Across the UBC Vancouver campus, there were 110 proposals received.

2019/20 Faculty, Staff and Student Engagement
The TLEF actively engages with teaching and research faculty across the university as well as support staff, who provide consultation and development support throughout the life of TLEF projects.
In 2019/20, approximately $1.4 million in TLEF-awarded funding will employ over 200 UBC students to support the development, implementation and evaluation of TLEF projects. Students will embody many different roles, including teaching assistants, graduate/undergraduate research assistants, co-op and work-learn students, and participants in focus groups to evaluate projects.

TLEF projects funded in 2018/19 supported 22,636 students in Small TLEF Innovation projects and 12,897 students in Large TLEF Transformation projects. Overall, the projects reached 197 courses (undergraduate and graduate) and 538 sections on the UBCV campus, impacting 35,533 enrolments and 22,265 unique students.* Small TLEF Innovation Projects
