2018/19 Faculty, Staff and Student Engagement

The TLEF actively engages with teaching and research faculty across the university as well as support staff who provide consultation and development support throughout the life of TLEF projects.

Approximately $1,000,000 of TLEF-awarded funding in 2017/18 will employ over 200 UBC students to support the development, implementation and evaluation of projects.  Students will be hired to work as: Teaching Assistants, Graduate/Undergraduate Research Assistants, Co-op and Work Learn students and participants in focus groups to evaluate projects.

2017/18 Enrolment Reach

TLEF projects funded in 2017/18 reached 10,943 students in Small TLEF Innovation projects and 11,861 students in Large TLEF Transformation projects. Overall, the projects reached 157 courses (undergraduate and graduate) and 270 sections across 11 Faculties at the UBCV campus, impacting 22,804 enrolments and 13,580 unique students.*
