Project Summary

Student learning and the quality of the faculty’s role will be enhanced through the continued implementation of this proposal for the following reasons:

  • Medical and dental school graduates will be better aware of the realities of current information technology and prepared for its use in their clinical practice.
  • Students will be provided with the means to exchange and disseminate course related information and resource materials through the Internet.
  • Provide students, faculty and staff with increased interactivity through electronic communications.
  • Provide students with a regular self-assessment tasks in a variety of formats with appropriate immediate learning feedback to enable remediation of identified weaknesses.
  • Enable timely course and instructor evaluation.
