| Project Summary | Objective: To develop web-based learning resources for graduate health research design courses. Rationale: Currently, numerous discipline-specific graduate research courses in various graduate health programs have significant content overlap and emphasize didactic vs. inquiry-based learning. Many enrol 5-6 students/year. An interdisciplinary graduate course in research design that is currently being developed will reduce redundancy and enhance students' appreciation for interdisciplinary aspects of conducting research. However, there is concern that students will not learn discipline-specific issues and methods. Developing web-based resources that can be used to meet individualized learning objectives in existing health research courses (e.g., HUNU 500, NURS 551, RHSC 500) and/or a new interdisciplinary course will address this. |
