Year 1: Summary | Objectives:
Rationale: The Ministry of Education recommends that information and communication technology skills be part of teacher training and that teachers have greater opportunities to collaboratively plan and work with teacher-librarians. This project will engage student teachers and librarians in the practice of working with information technologies to present the results of research in a shared resource. The web resource will consolidate difficult-to-find information and materials on language structures and intercultural communication with particular groups, and add a BC/Canadian perspective to the existing body of research available. |
