| Project Summary | The Adult Assessment Clinic is a partnership between the campus-based Psychoeducational Research and Training Centre (PRTC) and the BC School Psychology lntemship Consortium (BCSPIC), representing internship placement sites in nine school districts in the lower mainland and Vancouver Island. The proposal was developed following consultation with graduate students, UBC Access & Diversity, and UBC Counselling Services. The plan is twofold and is exclusively student-oriented in that it provides services for students by students. The purpose is to make psychoeducational assessments and consultations available to UBC students from any faculty or program who have questions about their cognitive, academic, social-emotional, or behavioural strengths and weaknesses in order to help develop strategies and/or accommodations to meet their individual learning needs. The clinicians providing the assessments will be advanced school psychology graduate students under the supervision of registered psychologists affiliated with the BCSPIC. A doctoral student (GM) will coordinate and promote Clinic activities. |
