Project Summary

The redevelopment of CONS 101 to a three-credit course is a significant change to a large, required course for all students entering the Natural Resources Conservation program in Forestry. Thematic development of ‘wicked problems’ for students to examine, and interactive, self-directed activities will provide students with an enriched learning opportunity. CONS 101 also has a broad-base appeal, attracting undergraduate students from other programs and all faculties on campus, and provides a strong scientific base to sustainability courses for first-year students.
