TLEF Consultation and General Information Sessions

TLEF Consultation Sessions

The Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) and Faculty support units will be hosting a series of drop-in sessions to help applicants in the development of their Large and Small TLEF Project proposals. Applicants can drop in to any of these sessions to talk about their project ideas and receive feedback and advice on topics such as pedagogy, assessment, media development, technology integration, project scope, and budget development. CTLT staff with a background in educational development as well as instructional and media design will be available. The sessions also provide an opportunity to connect with Faculty-based units, Library, and UBC IT staff, ensuring that applicants can access support to develop effective and detailed TLEF proposals, with accurate project scope, budget information, and evaluation strategies.

TLEF General Information Session

To support prospective applicants who are seeking TLEF funding in 2019, CTLT will hold a TLEF General Information Session on Thursday, September 27, from 12:00-1:00 pm in Chilcotin Room 256 of the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.

In this session, you will receive information about the TLEF criteria and application process, including tips on writing your proposal, developing your budget, and designing evaluation strategies. You will also have an opportunity to meet other applicants who are working on proposals this year. Following the information session, educational development, instructional design, and media design support staff will be on hand to provide one-on-one consultation to applicants who are developing TLEF proposals.

Throughout September to November, CTLT will hold weekly TLEF Proposal Development Drop-in Sessions for individual applicants. You can also register for these sessions on the CTLT Events webpage.
