The specific activity will be the development of case studies based on past and current projects and theses that can be used in courses and other training programs. Rationale: The case study method is a powerful experiential learning approach. By developing cases based on BC companies and focusing on operations strategy and operations research methodologies the cases will be directly relevant and have wide appeal to UBC students and draw attention to the important applied research and training being carried out at UBC Commerce. Case studies are intended for use in the following courses: Comm399, Comm589, BATL 510, BABS 502 and BAMS 500. |
