| Project Summary | This project aims to design an interactive and hybrid course to support students during emergency and urgent care situations. An online triage tool will be provided to students to utilize during their clinical sessions, where students can ask for support with the information they need to gather to triage the patient and address their emergency and urgent care needs. This tool can be considered a pre-Gen AI building block, where the results of the students’ experience and performance in emergency and urgent care situations will be utilized to train a future Gen AI tool that provides high-accuracy diagnoses and treatment plans. The checklist will be supported with, an integrated, and comprehensive didactic materials, where the considerations and nuances of providing emergency and urgent care across the different disciplines and specialties of dentistry will be amalgamated into a single learning resource. |
