Duration | 2 Year |
Initiation | 04/01/2025 |
Project Summary | Our project’s main goal is to support a team of students to develop, pilot, implement and evaluate a web-based toolkit that supports healthy, equitable and experiential learning opportunities about climate change in the classroom with a strong focus on student wellbeing. The toolkit may include class activities, case studies, assessments and resources, to help instructors confidently integrate climate change and wellbeing content and practices into courses across various disciplines. In year 1 we will conduct a landscape scan of existing resources and consult with faculty and students to identify needed resources. We will develop, pilot and evaluate toolkit resources in targeted classes. In year 2 we will work with instructors to implement and evaluate the toolkit in all participating courses. The final toolkit will be openly available to the teaching and learning community at UBC and beyond. |
