Project Summary

AIQuest will be an AI-powered, semi-automated question bank management system, deployed in CPSC 322 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and designed for expansion across disciplinary contexts. Leveraging advanced AI and machine learning tools, the system will enable educators to efficiently create, organize, and review assessment items. It utilizes AI models to classify, tag, and generate questions based on difficulty, topic, and relevance. With human oversight and interactive engagement, educators actively refine AI-generated content to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with course objectives while reducing manual workload and enhancing their teaching experience. We anticipate that the project will enhance student learning through frequent and varied assessments, reduce stress associated with high-stakes exams, and promote a sustainable approach to resource management in educational assessment. If successful, this system will enrich the assessment experience for both students and educators, fostering continuous learning and timely feedback across disciplines.
