Project Summary | LEAP's (www.leap.ubc.ca) goal is to provide first and second year students with a coordinated and collaborative point of contact to access resources which support their academic success. LEAP provides learning support and opportunities for academic enhancement by offering access to online and campus-based face to face resources, peer support, tutorial sessions and technology supported tools. The overarching goal is to support student success and to provide easy access to resources. This TLEF embeds AMS Tutoring, (prior to 2005 this service received ten years of annual funding, for the last four years on average $35k) with the LEAP project. |
