Project Summary | This project aims to assist planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of a new interactive course, bringing together UBC Law students and their counterparts at a Japanese university in the negotiation and drafting of an international contract. It will build on the Faculty of Law's established strengths in Asian law, international business transactions, and negotiations in applying new information technologies to develop an enhanced learning process for lawyers, who will operate in an increasingly globalized and multicultural environment. The work of the project will be conducted in large measure by student assistants and facilitators who will be involved intimately in development, implementation and evaluation of the course. |
