Project Summary | The purpose of this project is to adapt existing programs in order to make Kaska language materials available to community members and UBC students. The project will serve as a cost-effective model for providing access to written Kaska language materials, audio recordings, maps, and photographs. The project will take advantage of the extensive work that has gone into the development of Musqueum materials at UBC using Web CT. It will facilitate the involvement of First Nations students with this technology, and provide a model for First Nations language education and distance education. |
