Project Summary

The goal of the project is to organize a dynamic Rapid Knowledge Transfer platform for UBC students on selected topics taught by Sauder School of Business’ Faculty and students and business community members, The project idea is based on an innovative program for MBA students developed and delivered by Linda Yaven, Associate Professor at California College of Art in San Francisco. The project involves:

  • a conference day "Teach us something in 7 minutes" (late October) with presenters - business students (4-6), faculty (2-4) and members of the business community (1-2).
  • selling up a website where the subject would be further introduced and discussed with a vast and interactive resource database.
  • follow up on the website by posting the presentation and creating a Community of Practice. The purpose of the project would be to engage students in creative responses to leading change in their communities.
