To request a one-on-one consultation about your TLEF or OER Fund application please complete and submit the Consultation Request Form or email us at tlef.info@ubc.ca. We will follow up with you shortly by email to schedule a meeting to discuss your project idea.
TLEF applicants can receive support and feedback from the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT), faculty support units, UBC Studios, and the UBC Library.
- Anytime: Submit a Consultation Request or email tlef.info@ubc.ca for feedback on your project ideas.
- September to mid-November: Join CTLT’s bi-weekly drop-in sessions for help with Large Transformation and Small Innovation proposals. You can register for these TLEF drop-in sessions on the CTLT Events website. You can also ask for a one-on-one consultation by completing and submitting the Consultation Request Form or emailing us at tlef.info@ubc.ca.
CTLT staff can assist with:
- Evaluation: Planning, data collection, and analysis to assess project impact
- Inclusive teaching practices: Strategies to support equity, diversity and inclusion
- Indigenous engagement within teaching and learning
- Learning design: Student engagement strategies and activity design for online, blended, or hybrid environments
- Learning technology: Integration, development, and analytics
- Media: Media and graphic design support, including DIY and emerging media
- Pedagogy: Course and program design, assessment strategies, and evidence-based teaching practices
- Project scoping and budget: Planning and budget development for TLEF applications
Please ensure that you consult with Central and Faculty-based support units to get their input on your project and to confirm any support you are hoping to receive from them in the development and implementation of your project.
