Project Summary
The objectives and rationale are:
To provide professional development for two groups within the UBC community of international graduate students, both teaching assistants and graduate researchers.
To foster effective teaching techniques and Intercultural Communication skills among International TAs.
To foster effective academic communication techniques among international graduate researchers who will be participating in seminars, meetings and professional conferences.
Thus positively affecting the learning of thousands of UBC undergraduate students in all faculties and strengthening UBC’s commitment to internationalization.
