Project Summary | The project is to support the transformation of LFS 252 from an in-person delivery format to hybrid learning format. Traditionally, this course is taught in-person with two 1.5 hour lectures per week and a one hour in-person tutorial per week. This project aims to transform the course delivery to a hybrid delivery format with one in-person class per week and the second lecture being taught using an online delivery format. Tutorials will also transformed using a hybrid delivery format consisting of some in-person and online classes. This will benefit the students by providing greater flexibility in learning and better course engagement during both in-class instruction and online learning formats. The objective of this project is to redesign the course to combine in-class instruction and activities with flexible, guided online learning in a virtual environment. Guided online activities will engage students with independent and active learning that can be submitted online. |
