Project Summary

The Department of Art History, Visual Art and Theory Graduate Symposium has been providing a rewarding opportunity for graduate students in Art History and other disciplines to present papers in a critical and scholarly environment for over twenty years. In addition, the symposium provides an open forum for discussion between students from UBC and other universities across Canada, the United States and Europe. It is anticipated that the event will provide the opportunity for a rich dialogue to unfold between faculty, students and members of Vancouver's vibrant artistic community.
