Project Summary

The goal of this project is to develop a production work flow that supports universal accessibility in the development of media and course materials for on-campus, mixed-mode and distance education courses. The project will also allow us to provide training on accessibility issues and create resources for subject experts, instructional designers and media designers who are involved in the development of courses in Arts ISIT and Office of Learning Technology. It is dedicated to ensuring an academic environment that helps create equal educational opportunities and that provides equal access to information for all UBC students. This project will enable the characteristics of quality teaching and learning and demonstrate sustainability and cost-effectiveness across a large number of courses and media projects.
