Project Summary

In September 2012, the new MA program in Science and Technology Studies (STS) and the new Science and Technology Studies PhD research streams in English, History, and Philosophy will be launched. In order to increase the visibility and competitiveness of those programs, we apply for the TLEF grant. The grant seeks funding for five principal activities: creating and maintaining a program website; creating marketing media about the new programs, updating the existing Science Studies minor and co-ordinating it with the STS graduate program and the History and Philosophy of Science major; facilitating grant applications by STS faculty to help assure graduate funding; organizing an inaugural workshop for the STS graduate program.
