Call for proposals for Small Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund Innovation projects

Faculty, students and staff are invited to submit proposals for Small Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (TLEF) Innovation projects. The deadline for proposals is 3pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021.

About Small TLEF Innovation projects

Small TLEF Innovation grants are intended to support experimentation with pedagogical approaches that have strong potential to enhance learning through grassroots projects. Small TLEF Innovation projects can request up to $50,000 over the life of the project, and can run from one to three years.

These projects should also align with UBC’s strategic priorities relating to transformative learning.

In 2020, TLEF funding was deployed as block funding to help Faculties in Vancouver transition to online learning due to COVID-19. UBC Vancouver has now returned to the regular TLEF funding cycle.
